For Parents:
Our teachers and students welcome visitors to come and sit in on their classes to get a feel for what it is like to be a Heritage student. If you have certain classes you are interested in visiting, give us a call and we can schedule you around those classes. Feel free to come alone or to bring your kids for the tour. We want to serve your family.
For Students:
Most days are fine for shadowing. Call ahead so we can avoid exam days, testing days or field trip days. At Heritage, we don't have uniforms, so come in comfortable but modest clothing. We ask our students not to wear athletic pants, athletic shorts or leggings to school.
What to expect:
You will be assigned to a student in your grade or in the grade you are visiting. If you know someone here, let us know and we can put you with a friend. Your host will not leave you alone while you are here. They will introduce you to other students and to the teachers. You can observe the classes or raise your hand and participate if you would like.
What to bring:
If you are staying through lunch time, bring a sack lunch. We have microwaves if you need to heat up your food. It can be a good idea to bring a book to read in case there are periods of quiet study.
