Is Heritage accredited?Yes, Heritage Classical Christian Academy is accredited by Cognia. Heritage is also a member of the Christian Schools Association of St. Louis.

Does Heritage have before or after school care?At Heritage, we understand the needs of busy families and strive to offer flexible care options. We are pleased to provide complimentary before and after school care for our students between the hours of 7:30 AM and 4:30 PM.

How often does Heritage have Chapel?Heritage students gather for chapel twice a week, led by teachers, student groups, or guest speakers. Chapel is designed to orient our community towards worship and the Word of God. We often sing hymns and choruses as well as hear encouraging talks and devotions. In addition to chapel, students meet once a week in small, gender-specific groups by house for prayer and encouragement.

Does the school offer Dual Enrollment or AP classes?Yes. Heritage offers dual enrollment opportunities through UMSL and other 4-year universities. We also offer AP courses.

What is Heritage looking for in a prospective student?Heritage seeks to enroll well-rounded students who are motivated to be serious about academics, grow in a personal faith in Jesus Christ, and serve others. We welcome students who represent a variety of ethnic, racial, and economic backgrounds.

Does Heritage offer financial aid to students?Yes, Heritage does offer financial aid to students. Our financial aid is awarded on a need basis, allowing us to support families who might not otherwise have access to a classical Christian education. However, please note that we have a limited amount of financial aid available each year. We encourage families in need to apply early to ensure they have the best chance of receiving assistance. What is the average class size?Heritage currently enrolls 66 students. Our average class size is 13, and our student/teacher ratio is 10:1.

I don’t think my family can afford Heritage, and am not sure we will qualify for financial aid. What should we do?We encourage all interested families to go through the admission process. If you feel Heritage’s tuition and fees would be a financial hardship for your family, we recommend applying for financial aid and admission simultaneously.

How are parents involved in the school community?The Heritage Parent Teacher Fellowship offers many opportunities for parents to serve the Heritage community. We encourage parents to support their students by attending performances, athletic events, special on-campus programs, and other community events.

What happens to applicants when a grade is full?If an applicant is qualified to attend Heritage but there are no spaces currently available, the applicant’s name will be placed in a wait pool.

How do I apply?All applicants must apply online. If you have any additional questions about the application process, please email our office at office@heritageclassical.org or call (636) 394-8063. Our application fee is $50 and can be paid using a credit card or bank account during the online application process.

How does Heritage support the educational needs of students with diagnosed learning disabilities?Heritage does not currently have a learning/special services department or staff, however, we are able to accommodate documented learning needs within a limited scope. Students who have a learning profile should provide a current educational evaluation completed within the last three years so we can determine whether we’re able to meet the students’ needs at Heritage.

Are there any discounts available?Yes, Heritage offers a 10% sibling discount for all siblings after the first enrolled student. This discount is part of our commitment to making high-quality classical Christian education more accessible for families.

What is the cost of tuition at Heritage?Tuition for the 2025-26 academic year is $13,950. Additional expenses may include a book fee, athletic uniforms, the fall retreat, a graduation fee and other school-related activities. Can my student play for the Heritage athletic teams?Yes. Our athletics program welcomes students from all grades and skill levels.

Does Heritage require an entrance exam?No. We do not require an entrance exam but do consider a variety of data points to form a complete picture of an applicant. These include transcripts and test results from the student’s current school as well as placement testing in Math and English.

What technological equipment does my student need?For high school students, a laptop is a required piece of equipment. This device will enable them to efficiently complete assignments, access educational resources, and participate in any online components of their curriculum. The laptop should be reliable, with sufficient processing power and battery life to handle daily academic tasks.

How much is the graduation fee for seniors?At Heritage, the graduation fee for seniors is $150. This fee covers various essentials such as the cap and gown, diploma, graduation ceremony expenses, and other administrative costs. Our aim is to provide a memorable and dignified graduation experience for all our students, reflecting the high standards and values of a classical Christian education. Can I schedule a visit and/or have my student attend a class?We encourage you to schedule a tour or shadow visit with our front office. Please fill out our inquiry form and someone will contact you as soon as possible.

Are students required to wear uniforms?No, students at Heritage are not required to wear uniforms. However, we do have a dress code that is explained in our student handbook. Our dress code is designed to promote a focus on learning and maintain a respectful environment consistent with our classical Christian educational values. The handbook provides detailed guidelines to help parents and students ensure they meet our attire standards.
